Suzanne M. "Suzie" Moskala (Milner)
SUZANNE M. MOSKALA
March 24, 1951 – August 2, 2018
Cornwall, NY

Suzanne “Suzie” M. Moskala, of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on August 2, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. She was 67 years old.

The daughter of the late Jesse Dale Milner and Mary Elizabeth Simerall Milner, Suzie was born on March 24, 1951 in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Suzie is survived by her loving husband, Major (ret.) Richard L. Moskala, USA. Suzie obtained her Master’s Degree in Library Science from the University of Hawaii while her husband was assigned to the 25th Infantry Division. She retired as the Library Director of the West Point Post Library at USMA, where she spearheaded and ran the summer reading program for 200 children. Suzie had such a strong fondness for children’s literature and knew how important and inspiring reading was for young minds. She left an everlasting impact on all of the children who participated in her program.

Aside from being an avid reader, Suzie was an accomplished craftsperson and enjoyed crocheting – often sending others a homemade baby blanket or afghan. As a hobby breeder of cocker spaniels, Suzie took great pride in her show dogs and loved them all, knowing that they will be waiting for her at the “rainbow bridge.” She will be missed greatly.

In addition to her husband, Suzie is survived by her sisters: Mary Lou Parrish and her husband Jeff of Belmont, OH and Debra Stringer and her husband Mark of La Grange, KY.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY.
