The daughter of the late Vincenzo Mangelli and Rose (Rizzitiello) Mangelli, Marie was born on August 22, 1921 in New York City, NY.
Marie was a retired Seamstress at Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Queens, Bayside, NY.
Marie was a gentle soul, who lived life in a simple manner. She was entirely devoted to her family, friends and church. Her love of Italian cooking for family and friends, sewing projects for home or work, and basking in the warmth of the sun's rays, filled her days. Her devout Catholic faith kept her peaceful, guided and able to handle the ups and downs in life that came her way.
Her immediate family always knew that when mom/grandma was around, laughs and smiles were sure to be part of the day. She loved unconditionally, was generous beyond measure and never asked for anything in return, except maybe a good dessert! She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
