Obituary for Virginia M. "Ginny" Lutz (McGuire)

VIRGINIA M. LUTZ
June 15, 1922 – March 11, 2021
Cornwall, NY

On March 11, 2021 Virginia M. Lutz, who was affectionately known as Ginny, Mom, Mema and Mama Lutz, went on her last adventure. She was born in the Bronx to Walter and Mary McGuire in 1922 and lived there until her marriage to Alfred Lutz. Ginny and Al had a wonderful life together with their four children: Nancy, Bob, Kathe and Karen. So many memories were made over the years, much laughter was shared and her life progressed by the addition of 11 grandchildren and 18 great -grandchildren.

Virginia was loved and valued by many friends and extended family. She had a very active social life and enjoyed all the adventures she had with her daughters, to the beach, to the casinos and to visit out of state family. Virginia was lovingly taken care of by her daughter Kathe.

Mom will be missed by her surviving children: Kathe and Karen (Rob). All of the grandchildren and great grandchildren will miss their Mema. Her friends and relatives will miss her lively conversations. However, this adventure will reunite her with her parents, her beloved husband, Al and her children Nancy and Bob.

Kathe and Karen would like to thank all those that helped Mom live such a full life. Due to the Covid restrictions we have not yet decided how we will celebrate a life well lived.
