June 15, 1922 – March 11, 2021
Cornwall, NY

On March 11, 2021 Virginia M. Lutz, who was affectionately known as Ginny, Mom, Mema and Mama Lutz, went on her last adventure. She was born in the Bronx to Walter and Mary McGuire in 1922 and lived there until her marriage to Alfred Lutz. Ginny and Al had a wonderful life together with their four children: Nancy, Bob, Kathe and Karen. So many memories were made over the years, much laughter was shared and her life progressed by the addition of 11 grandchildren and 18 great -grandchildren.

Virginia was loved and valued by many friends and extended family. She had a very active social life and enjoyed all the adventures she had with her daughters, to the beach, to the casinos and to visit out of state family. Virginia was lovingly taken care of by her daughter Kathe.

Mom will be missed by her surviving children: Kathe and Karen (Rob). All of the grandchildren and great grandchildren will miss their Mema. Her friends and relatives will miss her lively conversations. However, this adventure will reunite her with her parents, her beloved husband, Al and her children Nancy and Bob.

Kathe and Karen would like to thank all those that helped Mom live such a full life. Due to the Covid restrictions we have not yet decided how we will celebrate a life well lived.

How many special memories we have of Virginia and Al, and their family. We lived next door, and she was always so vibrant with a gorgeous smile and laugh that would bring sunshine into the room. It is such an honor to have had the chance to know her and Al - good people to the core, and a legacy that I know was passed on through the generations of their family. Our deepest condolences to the Lutz clan, she will be very much missed. Please let us know if there will be a future opportunity to gather in her memory.

On behalf of the Carulli family, I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the Lutz family. Virginia was a wonderful and cherished friend to our mother, Joan. We all loved Virginia as she was always so warm and funny and caring. I hope you can take comfort in her being reunited with Al, Bob and Nancy.
