Irene, Michelle, Nick and family:Though it's been years since we left CCHS, please accept my condolences on the loss of your Dad. I did not know him that well, but whenever my family dined at the Canterbury Inn, it was always a joy. Enjoyed a lot of great meals there. He will be missed. May he rest in peace, love to all of you.

Being fortunate to have spent the last 12 years as camping buddies, my family and I grew to know Vince in the best of times as well as, the difficult times . Things I learned from him are endless. He was a man that always put family first, he offered so many stories that were dear to his heart. Spoke of his parents, his close buddies, his life happenings, owning a restaurant and bar, but mostly how fortunate he was with marrying his high school sweetheart. How he loved the lake, never missing a sunset, happy hour, starting the horse race pools, the 9 am church get togethers on Sunday morning( camp buddies popping a top when the church bells rang) , the 6 am drive to the country store for the paper, talks with camping friends and many camp fire get togethers and beach picnics. His love for having his daughters, son, grandchildren around him and Irene was the high light of his existence. Playing cards, deck dinners and simply watching them enjoy the lake was a tribute to his character. He was a man of grace, a good listener and never passing judgement on anyone, never complained about his health battles, he just lived for the day. We will forever remember his laugh, his dedication and his wit. May he rest in peace
