Condolence: My heart is so saddened to hear of Vickie's passing. I am sorry she had to leave us so soon. My condolences to the entire extended family. I am glad I got to see her after 40 plus years 5 years ago at the reunion. Vickie was a childhood friend that I never forgot and will always remember. May she rest in peace.

Condolence: Hands down one of the best teachers out there! All of my children had the pleasure of being a part of Mrs. Murray's classroom. Kindness and encouragement were a staple. It is with heavy heart to hear of this passing. Each one of my five kids are devastated to hear this news. The impact she made on all of them is life long. Mrs. Murray's light shines in a lot of people forever. May love guide us all through this darkness.

Condolence: At this saddest of times, my heart goes out to my beautiful, amazing, perfect friend who has left us all to soon. My sincerest condolences to all the people who loved her. I feel the sorrow and torture that her devoted husband Tommy is suffering with and the fear that her beautiful children are feeling at the thought of being in this world without thier mother...thier tower of strength. My heart breaks for the grandchildren that she gave so much to that won’t remember her and the grandchildren yet to come that will never feel the love of thier devoted grandmother.
There were so many wonderful things about Vickie. Anybody, any stranger who would be in her company even for a few minutes would know that they had met somebody special. Vickie was a “do right” person. She was always where she was supposed to be and doing the exact right thing. No matter what situations life put in front of her or tasks that were demanding to be dealt with; Vickie would get it done with no complaints and she made everything look easy. Vickie wasn’t just beautiful on the outside...she was even more beautiful on the inside. She was loyal, smart, compassionate, kind and always the first to offer a helping hand. Those of us that were lucky enough to have had her in our life know how true these words are.
Vickie was one of those people that seemed to have a light in them that people were drawn to. She lived a life of importance, value, honor, grace and dignity. To know her was to love her. I have been fortunate and blessed to have been one of the people that felt the warmth and love of that light. The world will be a little darker place without her in it but it brings me a bit of peace to know that a part of her and a little beam of that light will continue to exist in her children and grandchildren.
None of us know what tomorrow holds or how long we will be on this Earth but this I know to be true...if I lived a hundred more years, I would still be grieving over the loss of this wonderful woman.

Condolence: Vickie will have a living legacy through all the teachers at Washingtonville who will remember and honor her integrity and wisdom, and the many students she taught and loved. I am sure she was embraced by the angels and her loved ones as she started the next part of her journey. All the Murray's will be remembered and loved.

I knew right away that we "clicked" & I had an instant friend. I'm so sorry for your heartache. She touched my heart with her kindness and generosity and loving personality. She was definitely a giver & there will not be a birthday that will go by that I won't remember her sending me home with rice balls that she made!
