Stevenson “Stevie” I. Monchery, of Middletown, NY entered into eternal rest on November 16, 2021 surrounded by his loving family at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. He was 17 years old.

The son of Stevenson Monchery and Crystal L. (Harley) Monchery, Stevie was born on February 25, 2004 in Valhalla, NY.

Stevie was a senior at BOCES, Main Street Campus in Goshen, NY, where he was well loved and taken care of. His teachers, aides, and workers will all miss him.

He was an active member of the community. A family statement reads: “Stevie was the light in the hearts of everyone he met. There was never a day that passed that he didn’t make you smile or laugh. He loved his family, friends, teachers, and his games, lol. He valued love and honesty throughout his entire life. There are no words to describe the hole that now fills our family, but we believe that he will always be with us in spirit. Stevie, we love you and believe we will see you again”.
