New Windsor, NY

Rose Marie Pellerano, of New Windsor, NY entered into eternal rest on October 31, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 98 years old.

The daughter of the late Frank Castaldo and Albina (Supino) Castaldo, Rose Marie was born on July 12, 1923 in Fairview, NJ.

Rose Marie was proud that she made the “Diamond Girl Level” in sales while she worked for Avon. She was also a Seamstress and had her own business for many years. One of her favorite things was dancing - she was quite the Jitterbug Dancer. She was proud of her large family and will be greatly missed by all of them.

In addition to her parents, Rose Marie was predeceased by her loving husband: Victor L. Pellerano in 1992. She is survived by her daughters: Elizabeth A. Haines and her husband Butch of New Windsor, NY and Dorothy A. Wortche and her husband George of Wantage, NJ; her sons: Victor T. Pellerano and his wife Patti of Fargo, ND, and Arthur R. Pellerano of Edgewater, NJ; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; her sisters: Gloria Piccinich and Virginia Frank; her brothers: John and Frank Castaldo. Rose Marie was also predeceased by her son: Russell Pellerano; her sisters: Jenny Scrivanich and Mary DeStefano; and her brother: Nicholas Castaldo.

Based on new CDC guidelines adopted by NYS, fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks or be socially distanced, but unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks and be socially distanced in the funeral home.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 8th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 8th Garden of Memories All Faiths Mausoleum & Cemetery, 300 Soldier Hill Road, Township of Washington, NJ 07676. Entombment will follow the Service.
