Richard B. Bozzone, a former longtime resident of Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY entered into eternal rest on March 25, 2022 at the Emerald Peek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Peekskill, NY. He was 68 years old.
The son of the late Louis Peter Bozzone and Rina Louise (Bertero) Bozzone of Newburgh, NY, Richard was born on February 18, 1954 in Cherry Point, NC.
Richard Bozzone was an amazing father, brother, uncle, son and lifelong friend. He had an amazing sense of humor and would do anything for the people he cared about. He is at peace now and will be missed so much by so many.
Richard was predeceased by his loving wife: Debra M. (Burns) Bozzone in 2011. Left to treasure the memories are his daughters: Aja M. Bozzone of Middletown, NY and Vielka D. Bozzone of Newburgh, NY; his sister: Donna (Bozzone) Fanning and her husband Stephen of Walden, NY; niece Casey Coppola and husband Chris; as well as his nephews: Adam Fanning and Ian Fanning.
Based on new CDC guidelines adopted by NYS, fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks or be socially distanced, but unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks and be socially distanced in the funeral home.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31st at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. The family invites you to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 1st at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY to celebrate and honor Richard.
