Obituary for Randall L. "Randy" Lewis

RANDALL “RANDY” L. LEWIS
April 23, 1964 – September 25, 2020
New Windsor, NY

Randall “Randy” L. Lewis, of New Windsor, NY entered into eternal rest on September 25, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at his home. He was 56 years old.

The son of the late Ernest W. DesLauriers, Jr. and Marlene A. (Colburn) DesLauriers, Randy was born on April 23, 1964 in Springfield, MA.

Randy was a Fiber Optic Technician starting his own company, Hudson Valley Fiber Optics, which he successfully ran for many years before joining TJ’s CATV, Inc.

Randy lived life passionately on his own terms. He had a love for animals and the outdoors that included fishing, hiking and kayaking. His kindness extended far beyond those who knew and loved him. His legacy and spirit will live on in our hearts forever.

Randy is survived by his loving wife Louise B. (Power) Lewis and his daughter Emma L. Lewis; his siblings and their spouses: Sarah (Jeff) Godek of Springfield, MA; Kate (Frank) Campiti of Suffield, CT; David (Anthony Fay) DesLauriers of Springfield, MA; and Diane (Chris) LeBeau of Oviedo, FL; his father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Maura Power of Shannon, Ireland; his in-laws and their spouses: Carol (Billy) Connery of Shannon, Ireland; Allison (Michael) Gower of Valley Cottage, NY; Jacinta (Pat) Murphy of Shannon, Ireland; Paul (Jody) Power of Cork, Ireland; Sean (Trish) Power of Quincy, MA; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He is also predeceased by two brothers: Thomas Lewis and Daniel Lewis, both of Springfield, MA.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 3rd at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Due to the continued public health concerns of COVID-19, please know that there is an occupancy limitation which may cause a wait time. Facial coverings must be worn in the funeral home at all times.
