Orville O. Orts, fondly known as Mike, of New Windsor, NY entered into eternal rest on March 21, 2021 at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. He was 88 years old.
The son of the late Orville W. Orts and Leila (Wakely) Orts, Orville was born on September 30, 1932 in Ossining, NY.
Orville was a retired Commercial Representative for Central Hudson in Newburgh, NY. He was a member of the Naval Reserve for many years.
Orville was an NFA Graduate where excelled in all sports. His love of sports continued into adulthood where he excelled at tennis and golf until he was 82 years of age.
Orville was predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years, Margery (Renaud) Orts in 2015. He is survived by his daughter: Kathy Orts of New Windsor, NY; his son: Jeffrey Orts and his wife Judy of New Windsor, NY; his grandsons: Michael (Sondra) Orts and David K. Serviss; and his great grandchild: Pauline Rose Orts. In addition to his wife, Orville was predeceased by his son: Stephen Orts in 1996.
