Michael A. Pacella of Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY entered into eternal rest on February 8, 2022 at his home. He was 82 years old.

The son of the late Michael Pacella and Gertrude (Maratta) Pacella, Michael was born on October 23, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY.

Mike was a retired Supervisor/Manager for Stryker Corp. in Mahwah, NJ. He had a very rewarding career. He was an expert in the investment casting/foundry business, spending his entire career working and managing in both the aerospace gas turbine business, and orthopedic device manufacturing fields where he dedicated his life to become successful in his field of expertise. Mike's efforts were instrumental in every company he managed, helping them become highly successful, world-class companies, where he was highly regarded for his managerial and leadership skills. During his career, Mike was personally responsible for the hiring of many talented people from around the world, especially from places such as Haiti and the Dominican Republic. As a result, he was presented with an award for being instrumental for the betterment of the lives of families from the Dominican Republic who, because of Mike, were able to send their children to college etc.; and become proud American families. Mike was well respected by all his co-workers, whom he loved and treated like family. He was especially proud of the championship Industrial league softball teams that he played with and managed for over two decades. Upon retirement, Mike was an avid bowler and fisherman. He also enjoyed vacationing with his family at Long Beach Island, N.J., watching NFL and professional baseball games, and going to classic car shows. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Shirley J. (Champeau) Pacella at home; his daughters: Renee Pacella (George Walter), Michele (Pacella) and her husband Phil Koury, and Lynn (Pacella) Durgin; his sons: Marco Pacella, Frank M. Pacella and his wife Diane C.; his grandchildren: Angelina, Gabrielle, Christina, Madeline, Frank P., Troy, Lauren, Scottie, and Clay; his great grandchildren: Adelia, Dante, and Melina; and by his brother: Ralph Pacella (Geraldine), and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by his son: Michael T. Pacella, and siblings: Angie, Molly, Theresa, Lillian, Sonny, and Anthony.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 12th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Based on new CDC guidelines adopted by NYS, fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks or be socially distanced, but unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks and be socially distanced in the funeral home.

A Chapel Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. immediately following the Visitation. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
