Michael Count, of Pearl River, NY passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 22, 2023 at the Joe Raso Hospice Residence in New City, NY. He was 56 years old.
Michael was born on June 22, 1966 in Spring Valley, NY. He graduated from Washingtonville High School in 1984. Michael was Assistant Parts Manager at Rockland Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Nanuet, NY. Michael was an avid Buffalo Bills and New York Mets fan. His favorite times were spent with his family & friends, playing guitar, enjoying music, and fishing.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Karen Count, his son, Michael James, his mother MaryEllen Count and her husband Paul E. Oser Sr., his sister, Sharon Count and her partner Dan Robson of Ocean Pines, MD, his brother Kip Count, his wife Lisa Protzmann, and nieces Zoey and Emma of New City, NY. He is also survived by his lifelong friend Rolland Burns and his wife Kathy.
Michael was predeceased by his father James H. Count, his uncle Kenny Levi, his aunt Kathleen Fine and his grandparents, Capt. Kenneth S. and Virginia Levi.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Chapel Service will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 26th officiated by Deacon John Pelella.
