Marybeth Hurley of New Windsor, NY entered into eternal rest on January 5, 2022 at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. She was 57 years old.

The daughter of the late Marie and Raymond Lynch of West Haverstraw NY, Marybeth was born on November 10, 1964 in New York City, NY.

Marybeth was an Accountant at the USMA, West Point, NY in multiple departments for over 30 years.

She was an active member of the St. Thomas of Canterbury Church Community, enjoyed traveling and vacationing with her family and was an avid bowler. Marybeth was an insightful, warmhearted person who always put others first and valued her friendships dearly. Her contributions to many were felt in her dedication to her children’s passions and interests. Mary’s ever present support for and participation in extended family gatherings will forever be remembered. Her infectious energy and outgoing charm could stir laughter in the quietest of groups. She will be greatly missed.

Marybeth is survived by her devoted husband: Thomas P. Hurley; her sons: Patrick and Michael Hurley; and daughter: Grace Hurley of New Windsor, NY. Mary is predeceased by her son: Steven; brother: Raymond Lynch; and brother-in-law: Charles Hurley. Mary is also survived by a large extended family by marriage of brothers, sisters and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Due to the continued public health concerns of covid-19, please know that facial coverings must be worn in the funeral home at all times.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 12th St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY.
