Marion G. Humphrey, of Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY entered into eternal rest on November 23, 2022 at Sapphire Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Goshen, NY. She was 97 years old.
The daughter of the late Otto Gauer and Anna (Young) Gauer, Marion was born on February 3, 1925 in Newburgh, NY.
Marion was an Administrative Assistant for the Director of Athletics at USMA, West Point, NY for 47 years. She was proud of the fact that she received the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service. She also received a Citation from the NYS Assembly for Distinguished Service.
Marion was a member of the Cornwall Library for many years as well as a member of the Growing Old Gracefully Society (GOGS).
In addition to her parents, Marion was predeceased by her loving husband: Thomas C. Humphrey. She is survived by her beloved sister: Eleanor G. Cassella of Goshen, NY. Marion was also predeceased by her brothers: Otto and William Gauer.
A Graveside Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10th at St. Thomas Cemetery, Cornwall, NY.
