MARION E. BUCCI
April 18, 1927 – March 21, 2022
Walden, NY
With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Marion Bucci, a loving, devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all whose lives she touched. On the evening of March 21, 2022, Marion age 94, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital peacefully in her sleep surrounded by loved ones.
Marion was born on April 18, 1927 in Walden, NY; grew up in Plattekill, NY with her parents: Agnes and Charles Topping; along with her siblings: Gertrude Pflaeger and Dorothy Bucci. Marion and her husband, Augustus Bucci, met at Regal Bag in Newburgh, NY where they both worked and they raised their family on the outskirts of Cornwall, NY in a small town called Mountainville.
Marion will be forever cherished and remembered by her four children: Suzanne and her husband Richard Bull, Pamela Davis, Charles Bucci, Jon Bucci and his wife Lisa. She lived a life full of Yankee games, laughter and enjoyed spending time with her family. Marion is also survived by her four grandchildren: Dr. Richard (Ricky) Bull Jr. and his wife Yuying, Ryan Bull, Merissa Bull and Tori Bucci. She had the opportunity to spend time with her great grandchildren: Naylani and Iolana Bull; as well as her beloved animals throughout the years: Ashley, D.O.G., Dakota, Pepper, Patches, Ollie Bear and Leigh. Marion Bucci also was an aunt to many nieces and nephews who she enjoyed spending time with.
It provides the family comfort and peace to know that Marion will be reconnected with her husband and sisters. A Service to celebrate and honor Marion Bucci will be held at Mountainville United Methodist Church, 615 Angola Road, Mountainville, NY on Monday, March 28th at 10:30 a.m. Following the church service, the burial will be take place at Woodlawn Cemetery New Windsor, NY.
