Kathryn F. Kelly, of Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY entered into eternal rest on April 25, 2022 at her home. She was 99 years old.

The daughter of the late Henry James Farawell and Anna (O’Dell) Farawell, Kathryn was born on May 19, 1922 in Jersey City, NJ.

She was an active member of St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, the Catholic Daughters of America and the Alter Rosary Society. Kathryn was active at the Cornwall Senior Center at Munger Cottage and an avid patron of the Cornwall Public Library.

A family statement reads: “Along with her strong faith in our Lord, her family was most important to her. She loved being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and being a “Gigi” to her great grandchildren.

Kathryn was predeceased by her loving husband: Harold J. Kelly and her seven brothers. She is survived by her daughters: Christine (Kelly) Ring and her husband Stephen of Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY, Kathleen (Kelly) Hall and her husband Henry of Arlington, VT, Patricia (Kelly) Milliken and her husband Michael of Ruther Glen, VA; her sons: James G. Kelly and his wife Marie of Loudon, TN, Michael Kelly and his wife Ellen of Cornwall, NY, and Thomas E. Kelly and his wife Donna of Auburn, ME; Eleven grandchildren; Michelle Carrara, David Hall, Jennie Hernandez, Mary Mires, Michael John Kelly, Daniel Milliken, Kathryn Mires, Rebecca Ring, Stephen Ring, Brandon Kelly and Micaela Schmitz and 10 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 30th at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Thomas Cemetery, Cornwall, NY.

Based on new CDC guidelines adopted by NYS, fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks or be socially distanced, but unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks and be socially distanced in the funeral home.
