Kari Joyce, a former Cornwall, NY resident, entered into eternal rest on September 11, 2018 at her home. She was 80 years old.

The daughter of the late Reidar Selmer-Olsen and Aasta Kjode, Kari was born on May 13, 1938 in Norway.

A family statement reads: Kari loved her family, friends, birds and flowers. She will be missed greatly.

Kari is survived by her loving husband Adrian M. Joyce; her son: Mark Joyce and his wife Heather; her daughters: Monica (Joyce) Waite and Kiersten Meier and her husband Christopher; six grandchildren and two great grandchild.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 24th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson NY. A Chapel Service will be held at 12 p.m. following the visitation. Inurnment will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mountainville, NY.
