Kailas A. Ferrari, of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on July 23, 2022 at home. She was 20 years old.
The daughter of Paul W. and Tammy A. (Sharp) Ferrari, Kailas was born on August 6, 2001 in Middletown, NY.
Kailas was a student at SUNY New Paltz, majoring in international relations with a minor in Asian studies.
Kailas was smart, beautiful, and loving. Thoughtful, kind and generous; talented, creative and hard-working. A natural linguist and brilliant writer; a diligent student with a desire to travel and experience the world. She was one of the very best people we have ever known. And she was loved by many that met and had the privilege to know her. She will be missed greatly.
In addition to her parents, Kailas is survived by her brother: Jordan M. Ferrari at home; her maternal grandfather: Arthur Sharp of Kingston, MI; her paternal grandmother: Lillian Ferrari of Ft. Myers Beach, FL. She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother: Polly Sharp; and her paternal grandfather: Charles Ferrari.
Based on new CDC guidelines adopted by NYS, fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks or be socially distanced, but unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks and be socially distanced in the funeral home.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Cremation will follow the Visitation at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
