John C. Rice peacefully passed away February 4, 2022. The son of the late Daniel Rice and Mary (Fenton) Rice, John was born in County Cork, Ireland in 1935. He immigrated to the US with his family in 1954, where he met the love of his life and built their family together.
John was the beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Lee); loving father of Shaun, Daniel, William and the late Maureen; father-in-law of Mary, Karen, William and Neil; elder brother of Mary, Patrick, Daniel and the late James; adoring grandfather of Ronald, Olivia, Mairead and Siobhan; and great-grandfather of Zoe.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 6th from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Due to the continued public health concerns of covid-19, please know that facial coverings must be worn in the funeral home at all times.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 7th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall on Hudson, NY.
