John LaGrutta passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022.
John was born February 12, 1960 in Suffern, New York to Lucille LaGrutta and the late John G. LaGrutta. John was married for 36 years to his loving wife Lisa. They had 3 beautiful children: Christopher LaGrutta, Joseph LaGrutta and Ally LaGrutta.
John’s family was everything to him. He loved spending time with them, traveling, finding new adventures, and eating and cooking good food. John and his brother, David LaGrutta, were owners and operators of LKM Ltd. Electric for 34 years and recently partnered with Vista Electric for the last 2 years.
John is survived by his mother: Lucille LaGrutta of New City; his siblings: Lorraine LaGrutta of New Windsor, Kathy and Don Moresi of Suffern, David and Lisa LaGrutta of Cornwall-on-Hudson, Maria and Pete Deleo of Harriman; 7 nieces, 2 nephews and 1 great niece.
John’s wonderful life will always be cherished.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Due to the continued public health concerns of covid-19, please know that facial coverings must be worn in the funeral home at all times.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 25th at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Cremation will follow the Mass at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
Memorial Contributions in John’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
