John “Jack” J. Boyle, Jr., of Salisbury Mills, NY entered into eternal rest on June 25, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. He was 62 years old.

The son of the late John J. Boyle, Sr. and Joan (Larrigan) Boyle, Jack was born on August 14, 1959 in Williston Park, NY.

Jack was a Captain with the FDNY-EMS at the Metro Tech Center in Brooklyn, NY. He also was an EMS instructor for VEEB in Nassau County, NY, Rockland and Dutchess Community Colleges and Beekman Fire Department.

Jack was an active member of the Grace Community Church Greet Team, and the Cornwall Volunteer Ambulance Corp where he served as Chief for many years. He was also an Exempt Fireman with Williston Park Fire Department, where he was an active member for several years before moving to Cornwall. Jacks’ passion was fishing and spending time with his service dog Katie who never left his side. We would also like to thank the team that cared for Jack both at Fidelis Kidney Care in Cornwall and the St. Lukes 2 North staff.

A family statement reads: “Jack was a dedicated volunteer in our community. His passion for EMS and teaching has been passed on to his children. He was a great friend, father and grandfather. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor. He will be missed greatly by all whose life he has touched.”
