JEAN M. KEAHON
April 12, 1942 – March 25, 2022
New Windsor, NY
Jean M. Keahon, of New Windsor, NY entered into rest peacefully on March 25, 2022. She was 79 years old. The daughter of the late Louis DeCarolis and Kathleen Garvin, Jean was born on April 12, 1942 in Nyack, NY.
Jean enjoyed gardening and was active in the Cornwall Garden Club. She was involved in the Cornwall Little League, and loved to watch her sons play ball. Jean also loved to attend and support many Dominican College events. She loved to cook and enjoyed making new recipes for her family and friends. Most of all, Jean loved her family and was a loving wife, mother, and devoted grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Jean is survived by her devoted husband: Hugh G. Keahon at home; her loving son: Michael Keahon and his wife Jennifer of Newburgh, NY; and her grandchildren: Ryan Keahon and Katelyn Keahon. In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her son: Shawn M. Keahon in 2017; and her sister: Helen Compos of Fall River, Massachusetts.
Based on new CDC guidelines adopted by NYS, fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear masks or be socially distanced, but unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear masks and be socially distanced in the funeral home.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 31st at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY.
