ISABELLA ROSARIO
June 29, 1967 – June 13, 2018
Cornwall, NY
Isabella Rosario, of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on June 13, 2018 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. She was 50 years old.
The daughter of the late Armando Salerno and Rocchina (Blandamuro) Salerno, Isabella was born on June 29, 1967 in Manhattan, NY.
A family statement reads: Isabella was full of life and love. Cooking for her family and friends was a great passion of hers—one of her greatest joys in life was seeing her family together at the dining room table. She also loved music and going to concerts any chance she had. Isabella will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her mother, Isabella is survived by her husband: Ricardo Rosario; her daughters: Alexandra R. Kelly and her husband Michael, Samantha J. Rosario, and Veronica R. Rosario; her brothers: Giuseppe (Joey) Salerno and wife Ginger, Gaetano (Tommy) Salerno, and Leonardo (Lenny) Salerno and wife Madeline. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and grand-nephews. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Antoinette.
Isabella’s family would like to extend sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, specifically Joan Cusack-McGuirk, Dr. Joseph, and the nurses and staff on 2 North and 4 North for their compassionate care during the last weeks of Isabella’s life.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 23rd at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson NY. A Chapel Service will be held following the visitation. Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Isabella’s name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 or the American Cancer Society, 121 Executive Drive #200, New Windsor, NY 12553.
