Obituary

GEORGE M. NACLERIO
January 31, 1952 – April 7, 2020
Newburgh, NY

George M. Naclerio, of the Town of Newburgh entered into eternal rest on April 7, 2020 at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. He was 68 years old.

The son of the late James Naclerio and Matilda (Seneca) Naclerio, George was born on January 31, 1952 in Newburgh, NY.

George’s last job was for Newburgh Automotive Auction in Newburgh, NY. He was a jack of all trades, working in many industries throughout his career. George also served in the New York Army National Guard.

He was loved dearly by his huge family, who in their younger years would meet every Sunday for coffee at their parent’s home. He was known for his sense of humor -- he could always make anyone and everyone laugh and his jokes will be missed by all. He loved his family unconditionally and always said how proud he was of his wife and sons.

George is survived by his loving wife: Rene R. (Holmes) Naclerio at home; his sons: John S. Naclerio and his wife Nicole of Montgomery, NY, Matthew J. Naclerio and his wife Amanda of Newburgh, NY, Christopher B. Naclerio of Newburgh, NY and Vincent J. Naclerio of Newburgh, NY; his grandchildren: John and Jase; his sisters: Ronnie Casnocha (husband Rich), Mickey Ball (husband Al), and Theresa Naclerio; and his brother: Michael Naclerio (wife Mimi); sister-in-law Peggy Naclerio. In addition he is survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved him dearly. He is predeceased by his brothers Jimmy and Tom Naclerio.
