Florence (Lazar) Dorsch, of Haverstraw, NY entered into eternal rest on January 18, 2019 at Nyack Hospital, Nyack, NY. She was 72 years old.
The daughter of the late Michael Lazar and Florentina (Kaspczyk) Lazar, Florence was born on September 27, 1946 in Rastatt, Germany.
Florence was a retired Promotional Clerk with Lederle Labs in Pearl River, NY.
Florence was a dedicated Wife, Mother and Grandmother. The love she had for her family was boundless & all who ever walked into her home were enveloped by her kind heart & giving nature. The loss of such an amazing human being will be felt by many.
Florence is survived by her loving husband: Kenneth E. Dorsch, Sr. at home; her sons: Kenneth E. Dorsch, Jr. and his wife Sally Ann of Highland Falls, NY, Richard J. Dorsch and his wife Jane of Blooming Grove, NY; her daughter: Katrina E. Dorsch of Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY; her granddaughter: Katherine Margaret Dorsch; her brother: Michael Lazar of Blauvelt, NY; and her sister: Olga Krasinki of Goshen, NY.
Visitation will be held from 5p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23rd at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson NY. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23rd at the funeral home; Deacon Luke Conroy will officiate. Cremation will take place Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Florence’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
