Emma R. Di Sisto, of Monroe, NY entered into eternal rest on January 9, 2022 at Schervier Pavilion in Warwick, NY. She was 95 years old.
The daughter of the late Francesco Manzini and Dominca (Rivoira) Manzini, Emma was born on December 15, 1926 in Liverno, Italy.
Emma earned her Master of Science in Nursing Degree and was a Registered Nurse with Visiting Nurse Service of New York in New York City for many years until her retirement.
Emma was a faithful Parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Monroe. She instilled that faith in her children.
Emma was predeceased by her loving husband: Jerolamo “Jerry” Di Sisto in 2001 and by her son: Angelo Di Sisto in 1999. She is survived by her devoted son: Jerry Di Sisto and his wife Dolores of Highland Mills, NY; by her granddaughter: Stephanie (Di Sisto) Michaels of Florida; and by her grandson: Andrew Michaels.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12th at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Due to the continued public health concerns of covid-19, please know that facial coverings must be worn in the funeral home at all times.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 13th at The Church of the Sacred Heart, 26 Still Road, Monroe, NY. Entombment will follow the Mass at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Emma’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
