Ellinora J. LaFontaine, a former longtime resident of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on February 14, 2021 at Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center in Campbell Hall, NY. She was 66 years old.
The daughter of the late Kenneth LaFontaine and Carol Jean (Wood) LaFontaine, Ellinora was born on April 16, 1954 in Peekskill, NY.
Ellinora held many jobs in her life, but she especially enjoyed waitressing at Perkins in New Windsor, NY.
Ellie (as most people know her) was full of life and a hard-working mom. She loved singing and dancing to music. She loved sports, especially the Yankees and Notre Dame Football and shared that special bond with her boys. Her family was especially important to her. She will be missed greatly.
Ellinora is survived by her sons: Jimmy-Joe Roberts and Edward G. Stanford, IV; and her grandchildren: Noah, Lucas, Morgan and Taylor.
Due to the public health concerns of the Corona Virus (Covid-19), memorial services for Ellinora will be private. On behalf of the family, thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time. The family will be holding a private celebration a later date.
