I met Les as I visited NY Military Academy for an interview for its Superintendent position. As I came from Florida, Les had the responsibility to transport me. I found him to be friendly and informative. He was very loyal to his school and I recognized him to be a very valuable employee. As I later discovered, Les did everything and anything to keep the school going during its darkest time. Even though our acquaintance was brief, Les had a personality and contenance that one does not forget.
I am sorry for his family's loss. Again, he is a person I will never forget.
