Obituary for Virginia A. "Ginny" Casaccio (Rosselli)

Virginia A. "Ginny" Casaccio (Rosselli)
VIRGINIA A. CASACCIO
November 21, 1932 – February 9, 2018
New Windsor, NY

Virginia “Ginny” A. Casaccio, of New Windsor, NY entered into eternal rest on February 9, 2018 at Focus Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Utica, NY. She was 85 years old.

The daughter of the late Vito Rosselli and Louise (Navaro) Rosselli, Ginny was born on November 21, 1932 in Manhattan, NY. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Casaccio on May 2, 2017.

Ginny was the co-owner of Newburgh Window Shop along with her husband for many years and acquired many happy customers and friends.

Ginny’s heart was completed by her True Love, Paul. They were so blessed to be best friends, build a successful business and have a wonderful life together. They loved eating out, entertaining friends and hosting family gatherings. Family was her life, and greatest treasure, and she was happiest in the kitchen preparing a meal to enjoy with her loved ones. Anything could be fixed with a little ‘supper’. She touched many hearts and will be missed greatly.

Ginny is survived by her children, Linda Koch and Donna Racanelli; grandchildren, Allison (Michael) O’Sullivan, Louis (Kimberly) Racanelli and Lauren Racanelli; four great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Natalie and Timothy O’Sullivan of Sandy Hook, CT and Rylee Racanelli of Newburgh, NY; her brother: Al Rosselli and wife, Peggy of Long Island, NY; along with many other dear nieces, nephews, cousins, family & friends.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 17th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. following visitation. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.

Memorial Contributions in Ginny’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2 Jefferson Plaza, Ste. 203, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
