RICHARD A. KACZOR
June 7, 1962 – January 1, 2018
Cornwall, NY

Richard A. Kaczor, of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on January 1, 2018 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. He was 55 years old.

The son of the late Bernard Michael Kaczor and Evelyn Ruth (Garvin) Kaczor, Richard was born on June 7, 1962 in Amsterdam, NY.

Richard graduated from New York Military Academy in Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY and continued his education at Orange County Community College receiving his degree in Nursing. He was a dedicated
employee of the City of New York, where he increased the quality of life for
countless New Yorkers as a Registered Nurse over the course of an
incredibly proud 25 years of service.

Richard’s life was filled with music; he found joy in listening to music and playing guitar with his daughter, Katie. Richard was a genuine soul who strived to make everyone he loved happy. He brought joy into the lives of everyone who ever met him. His family will miss his incredible personality, his sparkling smile, and will cherish the warmth and love he left in their souls.

Richard is survived by his devoted daughter: Catherine A. Kaczor of Cornwall, NY; his loving fiancée Debbie Reis at home; his brother: David Kaczor of Cornwall, NY; his sisters: Nancy Kaczor, Sharon Potter and her husband John, all of Cornwall, NY and Linda Bloomberg of New Windsor, NY.

Memorial Contributions in Richard’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or The International Cystinuria Foundation, 302 Belview Court, Longmont, CO 80501-4779.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Chapel Service will be held immediately following visitation at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
