Angelo Joseph Nuara
Angelo Joseph Nuara, 97 years old, long time resident of Cornwall, New York, passed away on April 18, 2017 in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Angelo was born in 1920 in New York City to Giovanni and Anna (Splitgerber) Nuara. He married his childhood sweetheart, the love of his life, and dancing partner Catherine Cucinotta while he was serving in the US Army during WWII.

If there was a deck of cards, you could be sure that he would start a game of poker.

Angelo will be fondly remembered by his daughter Loretta LaTerra; granddaughters Jodi (Bryan) Flood and Amanda LaTerra; grandson Peter LaTerra; great-granddaughter Lily Flood; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Angelo and his son-in-law, John A. LaTerra, will be celebrated on Saturday, July 15th at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Inurnment with Military Honors will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery, Cornwall, NY.
