Rosalie Helen Iasso, of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on September 2, 2016 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY, surrounded by her loving family. She was 90 years old.

The daughter of the late Peter and Josephine DeFresco, Rosalie was born on December 20, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY

Rosalie was a retired Executive Secretary for Home Title Insurance Company in New York City, NY.

“Rosalie was an amazingly sweet woman, full of wisdom and grace. Her primary concern was always the love and happiness of her children and grandchildren. We will miss her greatly.”

Rosalie was predeceased by her loving husband, Modestino C. Iasso. She is survived by her daughter, Cecilia and her husband, Gary, of Cornwall, NY; her sons, Karmin of Port Washington, NY and Peter, and his wife, Joanne, of Port Jefferson, NY; six grandchildren, Jerry, Samuel, Deanna, Joseph, William and Christine.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson Street. Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at St. Joseph Church, 4 St. Joseph Place, New Windsor, NY. Interment will follow the Mass at Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Craigsville Road, Goshen, NY.

Memorial Contributions in Rosalie’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 121 Executive Drive #200, New Windsor, NY 12553.
