It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara (Kehl) Taylor on October 16, 2021, at Emory John’s Creek Hospital surrounded by her loving children.
Barbara was born May 28, 1936, in New York City to the late Joseph and Katherine (Voth) Kehl. Also preceding Barbara in death was the love of her life James (Scotty) Taylor and beloved daughter Diane (Dede) Taylor.
Barbara was a faithful member of Mary Our Queen Catholic Church. She enjoyed golfing, puzzles, crafts, and baking. Times dearest to her heart were the moments she spent with her children and grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her son: Scott Taylor and his wife Mary; daughter: Jeanne (Taylor) Mahoney; grandchildren: Jennifer (Mahoney) Bernard and her husband Ryan, Carol Anne (Mahoney) O’Donnell and her husband Kevin, Ian Taylor and his fiancé Lauren, and Benjamin Taylor; her brother: Joseph (Frank) Kehl and his wife Joan; as well as a host of extended family and close friends.
Memorial Visitation for Barbara will be held on Wednesday, December 29th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. A Prayer Service will follow the Visitation at 7:00 p.m. Inurnment will take place privately at Willow Dell Cemetery, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Barbara can do so by being kind to someone. Call a friend or relative you haven’t reached out to lately. Visit a shut-in or nursing home resident. Forgive someone. All acts of kindness are appreciated.
