Anthony P. Ruggiero, a former resident of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on October 17, 2021 at Wingate of Beacon, Beacon, NY with his family by his side. He was 88 years old.
The son of the late Phillip Ruggiero and Josephine (Borderno) Ruggiero, Anthony was born on July 17, 1933 in Bronx, NY.
Anthony was a retired Welder for the Ford Motor Company in Mahwah, NJ for 35 years in addition to being a Mason in NYC and a Master Gardener.
Papa taught us what it meant to be a patient husband, a loving father, and a wise grandfather. He will be missed greatly.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife: Beverly J. Ruggiero; his daughter: Arlene J. Ruggiero Park and her husband Russell of New Windsor, NY; his son-in-law: Pat Faurot; his grandchildren: Charles Faurot and his wife Jessica, Jessica Faurot of Cornwall, NY, Erika Horne and her husband James of Montgomery, NY, Kyle Werthmann and his wife Michelle of Middletown, NY; and cherished great-grandchildren: Charles, Dylan, Amanda and Julianna. In addition to his parents, Anthony was predeceased by his daughter: Julieann (Ruggiero) Faurot and his brother: Ralph Ruggiero.
Visitation was held at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Chapel Service followed at the Funeral Home. Inurnment took place at St. Thomas Cemetery, Cornwall, NY.
