It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our son, brother and uncle Adam A. Fairchild, of Cornwall, NY. Adam left this world on April 24, 2021 in Newburgh, NY after a long battle with addiction. He was 36 years old.
The son of Roger and Linda Fairchild, Adam was born on June 16, 1984 in Newburgh, NY.
Adam loved the outdoors, animals and most of all his family. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time on Cranberry Lake in Wanakena, NY.
In addition to his parents at home, Adam is survived by his sister: Sara E. (Fairchild) Bayne; brother-in-law: Brian Bayne; his nephews of Cornwall, NY; and his paternal grandparents: Roger and Doris Fairchild of Loudon, TN. Adam was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Louis and Helen Rose of Wanakena, NY formerly of Cornwall.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 2nd at Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home, Inc., 337 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Due to the continued public health concerns of covid-19, please know that there is an occupancy limitation which may cause a wait time. Facial coverings must be worn in the funeral home at all times.
Interment will take place at a later date in Wanakena, NY.
